Gelliwastad Road

Our building is on Gelliwastad Road in the centre of Pontypridd (where we meet every Sunday, 10:30am).

getting here

  • Free car parking is available on Sundays mornings - in the Gelliwastad Club car park, directly next to the church.


    There are three council car parks within walking distance which are free to park at on a Sunday:

    Gas Road Car Park

    Catherine Street Car Park

    Goods Yard Car Park

    note: if parking at the Goods Yard Car Park make sure to park in the non-NCP section beyond the bowls club!

  • By train: Temple is a 5 minute walk from Pontypridd train station. Simply exit down the stairs to the front of the station, and walk down the main road to the church.

    By bus: at either end of Gelliwastad Road are Pontypridd bus station and Catherine Street bus stop - hop off at either and walk to the middle of the road!

  • Temple is easy to reach on foot or bike from most central areas in Pontypridd. For hardy students it’s a 30-40 minute walk (or 15 minute ride) from USW Treforest Campus. Speak to the Welcome Team when you arrive if you need somewhere to store your bike.

using our building

The building is used by many different organisations throughout the week. If you would like to use the building, either for a one-off event or more regularly, then please contact us.

Rooms available:

  • Main hall (seats 200)

  • Side hall

  • Tea room, with access to kitchen

All areas (except Main Hall balcony) are wheelchair accessible.

Graig

Our original building on ‘the Graig’ is currently used by our sister church, HOPE Christian Community.
