our vision:
As a result of God’s love for us in Christ (1 John 4:10), our ambition is to:

to glorify God by growing in our love for and enjoyment of Him forever (Deut 6:4-5)

to grow in our love for one another and for others (John 13:34-35, 1 John 3:16, Luke 10:25-37, Matthew 5:43-48)

to make disciples for Jesus so that others can join in worshipping God (Matthew 28:19-20)
as we grow in Christ together - deepening our relationship with Him by fixing our gaze on Jesus in all that we do as His church (Hebrews 12:1-3).

Motives matter. Everything we do is in joyful response to God’s love shown to us in Christ and through His power. We keep our eyes fixed on Him, and Him alone.

We honour God above all else as we put His word at the centre of all we do, draw close to Him in prayer and listen and respond as His Spirit prompts us.

We’re ready to lay down our comfort, our time and our pride. We seek excellence in all we do to honour God and that people might be drawn to Him.

We're an independent Baptist Church but linked to other Baptist Churches, as part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. We are also affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance and agree with their basis of faith.
